Floor planner is an amazing online designing tool that allows you to accurately create 2D and 3D floor plans easily. You can create a free account which gives you access to standard quality downloads of your projects, you can design different types of rooms with it, not only bathrooms, and it has a good amount of objects to choose from with the free account.

You can easily spend hours on this website choosing from materials, objects, decorations, and is super fun and easy to use since you have so many customization options. And if you feel like this is the right tool for you, you can upgrade your account to get high quality saves for your projects.

German ceramics manufacturer Villeroy & Boch’s website has a predictive and easy to use tool that allows the user to fully design a bathroom, you can personalize the dimensions of the room as well as to choose from different materials and objects from its library. When you are finished with your design you can submit your email and receive the floor plan and 3D view of your bathroom. 

This tool is so simple that you don’t really need any prior knowledge in 3D modelling in order to design your bathroom so this is definitely a very useful tool to start with.


3. B&Q

B&Q’s online tool is a very good option if you want to design your bathroom, you can choose from the products they sell including decoration and accessories, it also offers 2D, 3D and 360° views of your design. You can purchase the products from your design and print the product list of the objects you chose.

You can create a new design or customize pre existing ones and even though you don’t have to create an account to use the online tool, you do have to register to be able to save your designs.


4. Kozikaza

Kozi kaza’s is a very complete online tool that allows you to design not only bathrooms but an entire house as well. It gives you a quick introduction so you get familiarized with the tools, you can customize every part of your bathroom, from room measurements to floor materials and wall coverings, its library also has a variety of objects to choose from. 

You can choose from 2D, 3D and 360° views and also choose from other useful tools like wall transparency in order to make the design process easier. This is a very good option if you already have images of what you want to design since it allows you to import your own plans or images, to be able to save your plans you have to register.

This is also a very cool and fun to use website to find inspiration and other ideas from designs of other users and participate in contests.

5. Tileplanner

Tileplanner is an online interior design tool that you can use on your PC, tablet, mobile or other device that you can use to design bathrooms as well as other rooms. It allows you to create a project in a simple, fast and intuitive manner. It has a great library with beautiful and modern objects to use in your designs. It offers a floor plan, 2D, 3D and 360° view. This tool offers a variety of customizable options such as tile covering patterns as well as tile direction. You can design without registering but in order to save your projects you have to register.


6. Reece 3D Bathroom Planner

Reece’s 3D Bathroom Planner is an online designing tool you set up and design your bathroom in 2D, choose from Reece’s products library, add finishing touches like decoration and lighting and review your bathroom design in 3D, you can choose a high quality or small quality resolution. The interface is simple and intuitive and actually fun to use, this online app is highly recommended if you have no prior knowledge in 2D or 3D design.

If you think you need extra help with this online app you can watch the tutorials they have on their website about how to get started and tips to use the tool and start designing your dream bathroom. You have to register to be able to save, email or print your designs.

Bathshack Bathroom Planner allows you to create 2D bathroom plans. With this online app you can choose the shape and size of your room and choose from products of its library such as baths, taps, toilets and more. This simple tool also allows you to add windows and doors, add text and lines.

Even though you can only create 2D views of your bathroom, it is a very helpful tool if you want to create a simple layout design of your bathroom, besides it’s very easy and intuitive to use which can be really good if you don’t have much knowledge (or any at all!) in design.

You have to register in order to save your design.

8. Frontline Bathroom Planner

Frontline bathroom planner is a very useful online app to help you design the bathroom of your dreams, it has many customizable options from room size and shape, wall and floor material and color selection, to walls and windows. It also has a library with a vast amount of objects to choose from for your bathroom (objects which you can purchase from the website).

Even though the view of the room is not that realistic, it gives you a pretty good idea of how your bathroom would look like. This tool is very easy to use, you don’t really need any previous knowledge in order to use this online app and you get used to it very quickly. The only downside about this tool is the way the bathroom furniture is distributed in its library, you have to spend some time exploring all the collections and options (there are a lot of them) but as soon as you do so you should have no problem.

9. Ikea Bathroom Planner

Ikea Bathroom Planner is a very useful tool for designing and visualizing your bathroom, it’s very intuitive and super simple to use, it has a library with all of Ikea products to choose from. First you have to select a vanity sink from it’s catalogue and choose the option “add shower” and finally choose “Plan my bathroom”, this option will lead you to the designing tool. You can also choose the bathroom layout and measurements in a very easy way, which will make designing your room with this tool actually fun!

You can choose from 2D plan and front view as well as 360° view, you can also choose to show or hide measurements which can be pretty helpful depending on what you want to generate your views for. The 360° view takes a few seconds to generate so you just need to be a little patient.

DIFFICULTY: Very easy.


10. Planner 5D

Planner 5D is a great designing tool that you can use to design your bathroom. It’s very easy to design rooms from architectural details including doors, windows and partitions, to choosing objects for your space. With this tool you can also design other rooms and not only interior but landscape too! This is a very good tool to find inspiration for your designs as you can explore creations of other users.

You can use this tool for free with limited options, but it’s enough if you want to get an idea for your bathroom layout and also choose materials for your floor, ceiling and walls, if you want to take it further you can pay a subscription to get access to all of its features.
